Catholic Theology

The Department of Catholic Theology is part of the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies of the University of Passau. It comprises five chairs and professorships. Our guiding principle: “Networked Theology”. In research, teaching and knowledge transfer we cooperate extensively with schools, the Church, Caritas, companies and municipalities, both within and outside of theology and on a regional and international basis.
